Michael Joseph O’Farrell

Michael is the executive chairman of the Australian Holiday Resorts (AHR) Group of Companies, as well as the chairman of Australian Offshore Investments (AOI) Group of Companies, which was established in 2007. AOI holds property interests in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, as well as investment and management links in the UAE.

In addition, Michael has served as the president of Lakelands Golf Club, GC, has been a member of the Australian Institute of Directors and served as a board member on various sporting and body corporate committees.

In 2005, he purchased the Riverside Hotel and lifted the occupancy from 62 to 82 percent, increased the yield from $69 night to $133 night and the number of room nights sold to 30,000.
